A FedEx Ground contractor is looking for a strong leader ready to step into an Acting BC / Operations Manager role supporting a growing Linehaul operation in Fort Wayne / New Haven, IN.
This is NOT a sit-behind-a-desk management position. We are looking for someone who understands trucking operations, can lead drivers, solve problems fast, and help keep a FedEx Ground operation moving efficiently.
POSITION DETAILS
- Weekly Salary: $1,300+ (Can be higher depending on experience)
- Quarterly performance bonus opportunity (1%–3%)
- Additional mileage pay when covering routes
- $0.50 CPM for operational driving coverage
- Additional pay for sick/vacation route coverage
- Company laptop, work phone, credit card, and supply truck provided
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily operational oversight
- Driver dispatch and schedule management
- Route planning and operational support
- Driver accountability and communication
- Fleet maintenance oversight
- Yard and trailer organization
- Dispatch coordination and reporting
- Driver interviews and onboarding support
- Emergency operational coverage when needed

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
