Job Summary:
Experienced Inventory Control Clerk / Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a warehouse position in the Houston 77040 area. This role is a good fit for someone with warehouse inventory experience who is comfortable using computer systems, entering order information accurately, and coordinating with warehouse, inventory, and sales teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control, order entry, shipping and receiving, ERP or WMS systems, cycle counts, and warehouse order flow. Epicor Prophet 21 / P21 experience is preferred, but candidates with similar inventory or warehouse management system experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Enter, upload, manage, and maintain customer and internal orders in the warehouse system
- Review order details, item locations, quantities, and inventory information for accuracy
- Organize orders by warehouse zones, picking priorities, and staging requirements
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and sales teams to resolve order or inventory discrepancies
- Monitor order flow to help meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines
- Maintain real-time system updates related to order status and inventory movement
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and warehouse accuracy processes
- Generate or review basic reports related to order processing, inventory, and warehouse activity
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of warehouse, inventory control, shipping/receiving, order entry, or order management experience preferred
- Experience using ERP, WMS, inventory, or order management systems required
- Epicor Prophet 21 / P21 experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and inventory information
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments
- Experience with warehouse zoning, slotting, cycle counts, or inventory audits is a plus
