Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure all areas are spotless, safe, and inviting
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures for all guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house areas
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels and address any deficiencies promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and support overall hotel operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hospitality or commercial cleaning environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and custodial best practices
- Previous hotel experience is highly preferred to understand guest service expectations in a hospitality setting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Knowledge of management principles related to housekeeper scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests alike to ensure seamless operations
