Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of tension or pain
- Conduct client assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advances in physiology knowledge to continually enhance service quality
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in client service and customer care
- Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for massage therapy practice
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
- Skilled in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on compassionate client service and customer satisfaction
