As a Dental Hygienist with Baystate Dental of Wilbraham, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care through preventive services, patient education, and collaboration with our experienced dental team. Schedule
Temporary Part-Time Position
- Mondays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation
$55.00 – $58.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Take and review dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Assist in identifying and communicating periodontal concerns and treatment needs
- Maintain compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate effectively with doctors and team members to ensure exceptional patient care
- Create a comfortable and positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience with digital charting and dental software preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
