Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for beverages and food, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of drinks, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills while maintaining high-quality service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately, process payments, and provide correct change while maintaining accountability for all transactions.
- Engage with guests professionally to foster a welcoming environment, addressing any concerns promptly with a positive attitude.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality industry roles with a focus on bartending or serving is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology techniques, wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and cocktail development is required..
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for retail math and cash handling are necessary.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while delivering exceptional customer service is critical..
