Park Place Sign Systems is a, family owned, national wholesale only manufacturer of ADA compliant and custom interior wayfinding signage. Our manufacturing facility utilizes laser and rotary engravers, CNC router tables, direct to substrate digital printing, screen printing and complete finish paint capabilities to produce signage for our customers located from coast to coast. The CNC technician is a full-time, entry level position. A typical work shift is 8:30am to 5pm, Monday-Friday, with morning & afternoon breaks. Lunch period is a half hour in length. Some daily overtime may be required with an occasional Saturday shift based upon the needs of our production schedule.
Primary Function
Operate CNC routing equipment to cut and fabricate signs and miscellaneous parts according to drawings, work orders, and production specifications.
Essential Duties
- Review the daily production schedule and determine job order priorities based on instructions from the Production Supervisor.
- Make accurate computer entries as jobs are completed to maintain real‑time production status.
- Cut, route, and process materials according to job specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Move completed parts to the next department and communicate any issues that may affect workflow.
- Inspect all products for quality, verifying smooth edges, proper finish, and correct quantities.
- Receive, store, and retrieve materials; assist with unloading trucks when required.
- Participate in weekly department cleaning and machine maintenance; document activities on the cleaning/maintenance checklist.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure equipment is kept in proper working condition.

- Work collaboratively and respectfully with team members to meet production deadlines and support customer needs.
- Operate all assigned machinery safely and follow established safety procedures for each piece of equipment.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve processes, product quality, and finishing methods.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong computer skills and a good attention to details
- The ability to report on time each day and be ready to work
- The ability to report to work 5 days a week and work overtime as needed
- The ability to work occasional Saturdays
- Willingness to submit to Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid drivers license preferred
