Job Overview:
Cambridge Honda seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team.
Located on Fresh Pond Pkwy very close to Alewife T station, Cambridge Honda is a well extablished and very busy full service center.
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, clean communication and ensuring smooth overall service experience for our service guests.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval
- Schedule appointments and communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Offer additional recommended services or products to customers when appropriate
- Maintain detailed records of all service transactions
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in service writing or as a mechanic is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively upsell products and services
- Proficient in using computer software for auto estimating, service scheduling, etc.
- Familiarity with brake systems, tire service, and engine repair is a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license
