The Logistics Lead will be responsible for coordinating the receipt and shipments of materials, components, and equipment used in the production of solar modules. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall logistics process. The Logistics Lead will collaborate closely with packaging, rework, production, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversees the day to day warehouse processes including receiving incoming materials, components, and shipments, ensuring accurate quantities and specifications.

Provides on-the-job training and support the rapid onboarding of team members. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging skill development and knowledge sharing.

Inspects goods for damage or defects, documenting any discrepancies, and notifying the appropriate departments.

Promotes and maintains a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that all team members follow safety guidelines.

Verifies that all necessary paperwork (e.g., packing lists, purchase orders, shipping documents) is present and accurate.

Assists in updating inventory records and systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Acts as the primary point of contact for all receiving or shipping related activities, communicating with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinates with Quality Assurance on status of Pre-Shipping Inspection (PSI).

Coordinates with Packaging & Rework on status of FG product.

Locates, scans, stage, ERP verification of finished goods; communicates with Finance department for customer invoice.

Collaborates with logistics carriers to prioritize and expedite shipments as needed.

Maintains an organized and clean shipping area, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.

Addresses and resolves any issues related to damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.

Investigates discrepancies, work with suppliers and carriers to resolve issues, and document resolutions in a timely manner.

Maintains accurate records of shipments, receipts, and returns for auditing and reporting purposes.

Assists with the preparation of periodic inventory reports.

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in a receiving or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, or similar tools.

Familiarity with solar manufacturing or electronics components is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.

Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
