We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL A Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting equipment, metals, and specialized freight on open decks, in compliance with all DOT regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of verifiable OTR driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate and maintain flatbed equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and secure freight on open deck for transport.
- Strap, chain, and tarp freight following all safety and securement protocols.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the truck and trailer.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A with flatbed experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
