Waldo State Bank is seeking to add a full-time Loan Processor to our team. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1-2 years of banking/loan processing preferred
This role includes, but is not limited to the following duties:
- Work directly with Loan Officers to process loans in the lending pipeline
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, TILA, TRID & other relevant guidelines
- Coordinate with title companies & insurance agencies to obtain necessary closing documentation
- Prepare application documents & closing documents to be signed in-person or electronically
- Follow the TRID policy and procedures, ensuring that all pertinent documents have been signed
- Responsible for timing and re-disclosing any documents deemed necessary according to the TRID calendar
- Order title work, flood certs, payoffs & appraisals
- Assist loan servicing specialist with customer phone calls, Construction & Line of Credit Draws & phone payments as needed
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication
- Adhere to all standards, serving as an example to other tea members, as well as to our customers
- Represent and promote the Company within the community through participation in bank sponsored events, philanthropic opportunities and civic events
