Knowledge of federal and state court procedures, records, and organization; knowledge of statutory law and judicial rules regarding preparation of capital case records; legal research and writing skills; good oral communication skills, ability to create good rapport with court, departmental staff, and public; strong organizational skills; ability and willingness to work under time and workload pressures; initiative and creativity in designing new programs and methods of organization; knowledge of or willingness to learn computer skills and advanced technology in the area of legal workload management.
