We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the restaurant industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with seating arrangements. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service.
- Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations or answering questions about the restaurant.
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with guest relations and ensuring all guests feel valued.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create positive guest interactions.
- A proactive attitude towards helping guests and supporting team members in a fast-paced environment.
