Job Summary
Solace at Vivian's Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate and motivated Behavioral Health Therapists to join our growing team. We provide outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, including individuals involved in the criminal justice and reentry systems.
Responsibilities
- Complete behavioral health assessments and treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adults and youth
- Conduct crisis intervention and safety assessments
- Provide case management and care coordination
- Collect and document urine drug screens
- Maintain timely, Medicaid-compliant documentation
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, probation/parole officers, and community providers
- Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field
- BSW, MSW, LPC, or LPCC (Ohio)
- Active Ohio Medicaid billing number required
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills

Skills
- Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused care
- Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to handle urgent mental health situations effectively
- Strong background working with children & family counseling, pediatrics, geriatrics, special education populations, and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
- Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Ability to perform patient assessments using medical terminology and conduct diagnostic evaluations within behavioral health settings
- Experience with group therapy facilitation and clinical research initiatives aimed at improving mental health outcomes
- Skills in social work practices including case management, patient advocacy, and collaborative treatment planning

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
