The HR Generalist serves as a primary point of contact for employees and supervisors, providing hands-on support across employee relations, benefits, performance management, and leave administration. This role is essential to maintaining a responsive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture. Key Responsibilities

Serve as first-line support for employee relations concerns

Administer benefits enrollment and employee education

Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities

Ensure confidential handling of employee information under HIPAA standards

Provide recruiting and HR operations support
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For

Associates Degree in Human Resources or 3–5 years of HR generalist experience

Strong interpersonal and documentation skills

Ability to work effectively across multiple locations

Understanding of HR functions and best practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines

Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings preferred
