Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team.
- Oversee food safety compliance, and proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Utilize POS systems such as Genius/Heartland POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff coverage during peak hours and managing operational flow seamlessly.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food service management with a strong background in quick service & fast food restaurant operations or casual dining environments.
- Proven leadership skills in supervising teams, conducting staff training & development, and managing hospitality teams effectively.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Genius/Heartland POS; strong cash handling skills.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, and food production processes.
- Ability to perform inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and manage food & beverage costs efficiently.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with experience in interviewing, team training, and supervising staff performance.
- Strong organizational skills in shift management, kitchen operations oversight, and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with catering, bar operations, coffee service, and managing hospitality teams in diverse settings.
