Job Description
Cathtek Inc. is currently seeking skilled Medical Device Assemblers to join our cleanroom production team in Walkertown, NC. This position involves assembling small components into catheter systems, testing components, packaging finished medical devices, and assisting with packaging of products outside of the cleanroom for shipping. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in cleanroom environments and hands-on assembly of small components, preferably in the medical device industry. In-house training is provided for new employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble small components by hand into catheter-based medical devices
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements precisely
- Perform product testing and inspection to ensure quality standards are met
- Possible packaging of assembled products according to specifications for shipping
- Label, organize, and prepare packaged products for shipment as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the cleanroom environment
- Handle products carefully to protect quality and prevent contamination or damage
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Follow all safety, cleanroom, and company procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous assembly experience required
- Two years of assembly experience preferred
- Previous small-part assembly or catheter-based product experience is a plus
- Familiarity with medical device manufacturing processes is a plus
- Experience working in a cleanroom or other controlled environment is a plus
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and SOPs
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
