At Riverside Dental, we believe every patient deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. We're looking for a friendly, dependable Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our close-knit team and help create an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
About the Position
As one of the first people our patients interact with, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience from the first phone call through checkout. You'll help keep our front office running smoothly by coordinating appointments, communicating with patients, verifying insurance, discussing treatment and financial arrangements, and supporting our clinical team.

What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service from the first phone call through checkout
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage cancellations and schedule changes
- Verify insurance benefits and educate patients on their coverage, estimated costs, and financial arrangements
- Present treatment plans and follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment
- Manage patient recalls, reactivation efforts, and other patient communications
- Assist with patient balances, collections, and accounts receivable follow-up
- Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA requirements and office privacy policies
- Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front office
- Support practice growth through patient referrals, online reviews, and retention efforts
- Provide support at both office locations as needed
- Assist with general administrative duties and other projects as needed

Previous dental office experience is preferred; however, we welcome candidates with strong customer service, healthcare, or administrative experience who are eager to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, candidates who are fluent in Spanish or Mandarin are encouraged to apply. Bilingual communication skills are a valuable asset and help us better serve the diverse communities and families in our area.
Compensation
- $18–$23 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
