Position Summary
We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. This position includes clinical supervision and is open to licensed or license-eligible clinicians. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate to client needs
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and state requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members as needed
- Participate in clinical supervision, consultations, and ongoing training
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, including client confidentiality
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible in North Carolina (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
- Experience providing psychotherapy in a clinical or community setting preferred
- Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team
- Commitment to professional growth and ethical practice
