House Helper / Household Assistant
Location: Houston, TX

Pay: $15–$22 per hour (based on experience)
About the Position
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and organized House Helper to assist with the daily upkeep of our home and help support our family's routine. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys maintaining a clean and organized environment, and is comfortable helping with light household tasks and occasional childcare-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- General housekeeping and maintaining a clean home
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas, mopping, vaccuum etc
- Washing dishes and keeping kitchen organized
- Laundry, folding, ironing, and putting away clothes
- Organizing household items and supplies
- Preparing light meals and basic meal prep
- Grocery pickup or light household errands as needed
- Picking up and dropping off children for school or activities as needed
- Assisting with maintaining a safe and welcoming home environment
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or household assistant experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable driving children when needed
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to pass a background check
- References preferred
Schedule
- 3pm - 7pm
- Part-time opportunities
- Some morning, afternoon, or occasional evening availability may be needed
