We are looking for someone to support the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. This position helps meet the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of children while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of infants.
- Support feeding, diapering and nap routines.
- Help create a warm, loving, and responsive environment for children.
- Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized classroom.
- Follow all licensing regulation, health standards, and center policies.
- Assist with classroom preparation, activities, and transitions throughout the day.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Understanding of infant development and appropriate caregiving practices.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Certificate in first aid and CPR.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
Pay: From $8.50 per hour
