We are looking for experienced and reliable independent contractor Cars, SUVs, Minivans, Cargo Vans & Truck drivers to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport goods to various locations across the northeast
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods
- Responsible for printing and obtaining all paperwork required.
- Ensure that all paperwork proved is completed according to instructions
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Requirements:
- Must have a Car, SUV, Minivan, Cargo Van, Truck
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a reliable and well-maintained motor vehicle
- All drivers must be always clean and presentable.
- All smoke odor of any kind must be undetectable to all ACS staff, customers, and consignees.
- No smoking with package in vehicles
- Must have the ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Weekend availability preferred but not required
