Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine the best course of treatment
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their condition and preventing further injury
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
- Specialized training or certification in areas such as trigger point therapy or pediatrics is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
