Job Summary
Marks JCH is seeking a Bilingual Russian English Social Worker / Case Manager to join our Social Services team.
This position will primarily support vulnerable populations such as low-income families, older adults, and survivors of domestic violence, helping clients access essential benefits and resources, and navigate complex systems with dignity and confidence.
The Case Manager will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes social workers, benefits specialists, teachers, employment professionals, and other service providers.
Fluency in both Russian and English is required. Speakers of multiple languages such as Ukrainian or a form of a Turkic language (e.g Uzbek) are valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client intake, assessment, case management, service planning, follow-up, and referrals.
- Help clients apply for and maintain SNAP and other public benefits, including assisting with applications, recertifications, documentation, and navigating benefit systems.
- Connect clients with resources related to food security, healthcare, housing, financial assistance, domestic violence services, and other essential needs.
- Provide advocacy and support to older adults and survivors of domestic violence while promoting safety, dignity, independence, and self-sufficiency.
- Collaborate with Marks JCH staff and community partners to address complex client needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records and required program documentation.
- Supervise social work students and interns
- Participate in outreach, case consultations, staff meetings, training, and professional development.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, public administration, healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience in case management, social services, benefits navigation, advocacy, or a related human-services setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong computer/digital skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered service
Strongly Preferred:
- Fluency in Russian and English.
- MSW or advanced degree in social work or a related field.
- Experience working with older adults, survivors of domestic violence, or other vulnerable populations.
- Experience with SNAP applications, recertifications, and benefits navigation.
- Knowledge of public benefits and community resources.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
