Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring each cup meets quality standards.
- Assemble fresh sandwiches, salads, and snacks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate Clover POS system efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently during food handling and preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience preferred (not required).
- Experience in food preparation or food service within a café or retail environment preferred (not required).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totaling.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures will be required - may require training upon being hired.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
