Certified Medical Assistant:
Southern Specialty Physicians (SSP) is a faith-based Vascular Surgery and Podiatry office looking to hire a full-time MA who can meet the following working criteria:
- Patient triage- Obtaining patient vital signs, collecting past medical, surgical, and medication list from patient and documenting information into electronic medical record system (Athena).
- Assisting medical providers with basic patient care and wound care.
- Answering and documenting patient phone calls.
- Communicating with medical providers about patient care.
- Scheduling patient appointments in EMR.
- Completing any other assigned tasks.
- We are looking for someone who is skilled at multi-tasking, phone etiquette, and adjusts to a fast-paced work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
