Responsibilities:
- Performing and coordinating food preparation so that food meets and/or exceeds quality, quantity and service schedule requirements and hospitality service standards for the community
- Plating and serving prepared food for residents
- Learning and adhering to residents' specific dietary needs
- Handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food production
Qualifications:
- One (1) year experience as a cook in a Senior Living Community preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
