We are looking for Electricians with experience - duties include rough-in and final installment of electrical wiring and fixtures in residential home developments and troubleshooting and repairing issues.
Responsibilities
- Execute plans for electrical wiring of new homes in developments
- Install electrical wiring and fixtures (e.g. switches, circuit-breaker panels, etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions
- Communicate effectively with our client's onsite project supervisors
- Some employee supervision may be required
Skills
- Proven experience having worked as an electrician
- Experience in residential electrical systems
- Demonstrable ability to use power tools, electrical meters and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.)
- Capable of reading electrical drawings and blueprints or quick learner
- Thorough knowledge of NEC code as well as safety procedures and legal regulations/guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work in various weather conditions
- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician (nice to have)
- Valid license to practice profession (not required but considered for compensation)
- Management/supervisory experience a plus
We will continue training and supporting apprenticeship programs. We are currently looking for dependable, experienced electricians that are willing to grow with our company, have a good driving record, and a great attitude.
