The Job
The ideal candidate will have no less than 2 years of experience with AV installation and a background in Information Technology. Good customer service skills are a must! The AV Technician is a high-profile role at our firm. Strong verbal & written communication skills are a requirement. [An associate’s degree in technology or CTS is preferred, not required]. We’re looking for a high energy and motivated individual that is willing to continue learning and works well with others and under pressure.
The job requires experience with AV installation, use of power tools, and the ability to climb a ladder.
A typical installation includes: AV equipment racks, LCD video walls, audio systems, projectors, touch screen technologies, Video extenders and switchers, integrated media, large-scale video displays, computers (PC and Mac), video processors, control systems, and networking technology.
Knowledge of audio, digital video, control, and IP networking and the ability to trouble shoot basic problems is a MUST!
