Direct Support Professionals (DSP) monitor, interact and assist residents with and help achieve daily needs, skills and goals. Provide programmatic supports by supervising and instructing persons served. The DSP monitors for the health and safety of the persons served and completes required documents daily. Ensures persons served receive medications as prescribed; provides appropriate supervision of the persons served as indicated by their program plans; prepares/ assists in ensuring the persons served consume healthy and nutritious meals as indicated by their plan requirement and provide needed/required assistance in completing daily hygiene activities.
DayHab Assistant: Ensure daily operation of program needs. Monitors for the health and safety of the persons served and completes required documents daily. Some highlighted areas within our curriculum that you will be working directly with our clients are: Arts and Crafts, Art therapy, interactive games, meal preparation classes, computer exercises, outdoor games etc.
Requirements -
- ***Current Valid Texas Driver's License***
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills
Paid orientation and training provided; including CPR and SAMA certification training.
