Help Desk Technician

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and delivering exceptional customer service in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity
- Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and walk-up support requests in a timely manner
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, email, and common software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Create, update, and manage user accounts, passwords, and system access
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support activities within the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
- Assist with workstation setup, equipment deployment, and basic network troubleshooting
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and technology assets
- Follow company security policies and IT best practices

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in a help desk, technical support, or customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting principles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required
