Dental Insurance Verification / Treatment Coordinator / Dental Assistant
Dental office in Aurora seeks an energetic Treatment Coordinator /receptionist who has at least 3 years of dental insurance and front desk experience. Experience with Dentrix preferred.
Essential Functions include:
- Provide excellent customer service to every patient Verify insurance benefits for each patient and update patient chart accordingly Treatment plan and discuss payment options with patient as needed Maintain patient records i.e. update charting/medical alerts. Get to know each patient as a person Confirm lab deliveries and progress of pending cases Greet and prepare patients for treatment Take intra and extra oral photographs. Provide post-operative instructions and patient education Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPAA Maintain supply inventory Perform other related job duties as assigned Qualifications 3 Years Dental Office Experience CPR Certified Prophy/Sealant Certified Dentrix Knowledge Preferred
