House Manager
Position Summary: The House Manager provides oversight and support for residents within Ava Health's residential program. This role involves ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured living environment, monitoring resident activities, and facilitating positive interactions among residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct oversight and monitoring of residents to ensure compliance with program rules and house guidelines.
- Facilitate daily house routines, including meal times, chores, curfew compliance, and group activities.
- Offer support and guidance to residents, encouraging positive interactions and behaviors.
- Conduct routine house checks and room inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Communicate resident concerns or incidents promptly to clinical staff and supervisors.
- Assist residents with accessing resources and referrals as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of daily activities and incidents.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in social services or a related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a residential, behavioral health, or similar setting preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- QMAP required – can be acquired immediately after hire with additional class that Ava Health will cover – this is statewide accredited certification.
Additional Requirements:
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining certifications.
- If in recovery, a minimum of 1 year of sobriety is required.
