Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children and adults to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as experience in patient assessment and care. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support tailored to each patient's needs.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and treatment options.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals in school settings to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid CA state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred, particularly in school or early intervention settings.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to evaluate communication disorders effectively.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while fostering a supportive environment for clients and their families.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $92.00 - $97.00 per hour
