At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the apparel industry in Southaven. This role is essential for maintaining the safe and efficient flow of materials throughout our warehouse facility.
Shift Patterns
- Sunday - Wednesday 6:00am - 4:30pm
- Thursday - Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm
Pay Rates
Requirements for Forklift Operator
- Knowledge of logistical supply chain methods and inventory control with previous forklift experience.
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in various areas and layers.
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule.
- Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary.
Role for Forklift Operator
- Safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in an industrial location.
- Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move products through the facility ensuring timely delivery.
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
- Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas.
- Control levers and other operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials.
- Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes.
