Headquartered in Boise with an additional clinic located in Nampa, ERHC is the provider of choice for emergency agencies throughout southwestern Idaho and select locations across the states supporting 40+ fire, police, and EMS departments and caring for approximately 8,000 responders and their family members (newborn to age 65). ERHC's practice model spans "360 degrees of care" from preventative wellness, sports medicine, occupational medicine, primary and urgent care, physical therapy, and Workers' Compensation—to mental health therapy, allied health services, and workforce wellness consultation. Most recently, ERHC has expanded its unique practice model into the Northeastern Washington and Northern Idaho region.
Job Description: Massage Therapist - Helping the First Responders of Our Community
We are seeking an experienced and engaged team player to fill the role of Massage Therapist, who will support an expanding team of physicians (family & sports medicine), nurse practitioners, physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, and mental health counselors. ERHC Massage Therapists are part of our Well-Being team and will directly support our Physical Therapy team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform therapeutic massage services (e.g., deep tissue, hot stone massage, massage in conjunction with physical therapy treatment, etc.) tailored to individual patient needs and provider treatment plans.
- Conduct pre-session patient intake, including review of health history and identification of contraindications, to ensure safe and appropriate treatment.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes within the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Set up, maintain, and sanitize treatment rooms, massage tables, linens, and equipment between patients.
- Manage appointment schedules and session timing to support efficient patient flow while maintaining quality of care.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and program development initiatives to support the continued growth of ERHC's Well-Being services.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and clinic privacy practices.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Current, active Massage Therapist license issued by the Idaho Board of Massage Therapy, in good standing
- Ability to maintain licensure through compliance with Idaho continuing education and annual renewal requirements
- 1-2 years of clinical massage therapy experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn and utilize ERHC's electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks); training will be provided
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
- Certifications in specialized massage modalities (e.g., hot stone therapy, cupping, prenatal massage, and lymphatic drainage) are preferred but not required
- Experience or training in sports medicine, sports massage, or working with athletic populations is preferred but not required
Schedule:
- Part-Time (1-2 days/week)
