The Hourly Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific shift in a retail or food service establishment. They are responsible for ensuring that all employees are performing their duties correctly and efficiently, and that customers are receiving excellent service.
- Supervise and direct the work of all employees on the shift
- Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing employees
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
