Your standard State Application Form STD 678 must clearly indicate the basis of your eligibility in line-item number 12 (explanation) of the STD 678. Appointment is subject to SROA and State surplus policies. Surplus candidates must submit copy of surplus status letter. Applicants MUST include “Information Technology Associate” in the “Job Titles for Which You Are Applying” box on the Standard State Application (Form STD 678).
Applicants MUST indicate the basis of your eligibility (cert, lateral transfer, reinstatement, etc.) in the “Explanations” section located on the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form678.
Applicants who wish to laterally transfer from another state classification must provide proof that they meet the minimum qualifications for this classification.
All Experience and Education relating to the minimum qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position. Do not include any confidential information such as social security number, marital status, ethnicity, age, salary or disability information on any of
the documentation uploaded with your online application
. PLEASE NOTE: Possession of minimum qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined that an applicant does not meet the minimum qualifications, the application may be forwarded to the State Personnel Board for review and the applicant’s name may be removed from the eligibility list.
If you are basing your eligibility on education, provide your transcripts. Applicants with foreign degrees must provide an official foreign transcript evaluation that indicates coursework is equivalent to a degree from an accredited U.S. College or University. Transcripts and evaluations may be unofficial; official transcripts will be required upon appointment. Please redact birthdates and social security numbers.
