Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our firm's intake team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the intake process for all our practice groups, ensuring that all potential clients receive a timely response. You will ensure that clients receive excellent customer service and that the information attorneys need to open a case is obtained, compiled, and provided in accordance with an established, uniform series of procedures.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all potential client inquiries in a timely manner via email and calls
- Determine if there is a potentially viable case and obtain copies of relevant documents for attorney review
- Review and “pre-screen” documents to determine if there is a potentially viable matter for attorney review
- Initiate the closing process on potential clients with whom we do not make contact
- Send courtesy call or close letters to potential clients who have spoken to an attorney but we cannot assist.
- Regularly follow up for additional information that attorneys request from potential clients
- Schedule calls with attorneys
- Draft all contracts and addendum contracts
- Draft notice of appeals and notice of appearances when needed

Technology Skills
Technical proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite products; Orion/CMP software; word-processing software, and spreadsheet software; the ability to apply technical knowledge to learn, retain processes, and utilize practice-specific internal software; advanced internet research skills; experience operating office equipment and technology, including imaging and scanning applications
Resiliency
The ability to nimbly adapt to change, both planned and unplanned; to balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment; skill in working with veteran clients with a wide range of medical and psychiatric conditions and temperaments
Preferred Education and Experience
· Law firm experience or experience in a legal environment
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
