Job Summary
Certified Industrial Partners is bringing our core IT operations in-house, and we are looking for a highly capable IT Support Specialist/Systems Administrator to own our day-to-day technical support and infrastructure management. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our 130+ users, handling everything from daily helpdesk tickets to managing our complete Microsoft 365 environment, hybrid server infrastructure, and enterprise security stack.
You will not be stuck in a silo. We need an excellent troubleshooter who is just as comfortable setting up a new iPad as they are managing active directory domains and pushing global security patches to 150+ endpoints.
Duties
- Day-to-Day Desktop Support: Act as the primary technical responder for all user issues. Manage, prioritize, and resolve service requests through our ticketing system with excellent customer service.
- Comprehensive Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage the entire lifecycle of employee technology. This includes provisioning and deploying Windows laptops/desktops, iOS devices (iPhones/iPads), and configuring all necessary M365 accounts and permissions.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Serve as the subject matter expert for our M365 environment. Manage user licenses (Business Premium, E5, Copilot, etc.), Exchange routing, SharePoint/Teams access, and overall tenant health.
- Hybrid Server Management: Administer and support our cloud infrastructure alongside traditional on-premise Windows Server domains utilized by our sister companies.
- Endpoint & Patch Management: Take full ownership of deploying Windows updates, software patches, and standardizing our fleet of 155+ workstations (99% Windows, 1 Mac).
- Security & Backup Operations: Maintain a highly security-conscious environment. Actively manage our unbundled enterprise security tools, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), email filtering, and daily automated backup/archiving systems.
- Vendor Management: Work alongside our retained third-party IT vendors for licensing procurement and high-level escalations.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in a blended IT Support and Systems Administration role.
- Microsoft 365 Mastery: Proven experience managing an enterprise M365 environment, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and complex licensing structures.
- Server & Network Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing traditional Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP) as well as cloud-based infrastructure.
- Hardware Setup: Extensive experience imaging and deploying Windows PCs, as well as managing Apple mobile devices (iPhones, iPads) via Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Security First-Mindset: Experience administering EDR platforms, email security gateways, and enterprise backup solutions.
- Ticketing & Organization: Previous experience utilizing an IT ticketing system to track workflows, document asset inventory, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent Troubleshooter: Ability to isolate complex issues quickly and communicate technical solutions to non-technical staff clearly and patiently.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
