Job Summary
The Auto Glass Technician is responsible for repairing and replacing automotive glass, including windshields, door glass, back glass, and other vehicle glass components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to performing quality work while following all safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Repair and replace automotive windshields and other vehicle glass.
- Calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) when required (training provided if applicable).
- Inspect vehicles for damage and recommend appropriate glass repair or replacement.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding services and recommendations.
- Complete work orders accurately and on time.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist with shop maintenance and inventory as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous auto glass installation experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
