Position Summary
The Hybrid Internal Sales Consultant is responsible for driving annuity sales and advisor engagement through a blended internal and external wholesaling model. This role supports financial advisors through virtual engagement, phone‑based consultation, and periodic in‑person meetings, delivering product education, case consultation, and sales support across a defined territory.
The ideal candidate combines strong annuity expertise, consultative sales skills, and the ability to build trusted advisor relationships across multiple distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and grow annuity sales within an assigned territory through a hybrid internal/external approach

Conduct virtual and in‑person meetings with financial advisors to educate on annuity products, features, and applications

Provide advanced case design and sales support, including income planning, retirement solutions, and wealth‑transfer strategies

Identify new advisor opportunities and deepen relationships with existing producers

Maintain detailed activity, pipeline, and sales reporting via CRM

Stay current on product developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
-
Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, sales management, and operations teams to drive growth and service excellence
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
-
3+ years of experience in financial services sales, with annuity wholesaling experience strongly preferred

Thorough understanding of fixed, fixed indexed, and/or variable annuity products
-
Proven ability to influence and educate financial advisors in a consultative sales environment

Strong phone, virtual presentation, and in‑person communication skills

Demonstrated success managing a sales territory and driving results

Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
