In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our entertainment nights, energizing guests with your musical talent, public speaking skills, and vibrant personality. Your enthusiasm will foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels inspired to sing along, dance, and enjoy unforgettable moments. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your musical flair while connecting with diverse audiences in a dynamic environment. This will be every Saturday night, 9-11 PM, at our Ellicott City location.
Responsibilities
- Organize and lead engaging Karaoke sessions that keep guests entertained and involved throughout the night.
- Manage the song queue and rotation to ensure a fun, fair, and inclusive experience for all singers.
- Maintain high energy by interacting actively with guests, encouraging first-timers, and hyping up the crowd between songs.
- Promote upcoming events and special themed nights to boost guest participation and venue popularity.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging positively with guests, addressing questions or concerns promptly, and creating a friendly environment.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to entertain and engage diverse audiences confidently.
- Experience in public speaking or hosting events is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of music genres and sound equipment operation.
- A background in promotional activities is a plus for boosting event visibility.
- Customer service experience that demonstrates patience, friendliness, and professionalism.
- Must have your own karaoke/DJ equipment - laptop, tablet, PA speakers, mixer, and mics.
- I will supply the karaoke song library and hosting platform.
Pay: $100.00 per day
