Job Summary
3-G Construction is seeking a highly motivated Rough Carpentry Framing Superintendent who can safely lead multiple crews and manage material and quality for construction of commercial and residential projects. At 3-G the Rough Carpentry Framing Superintendent meets organizational challenges with confidence – it’s a role that an applicant should have minimum of 5 years in rough carpentry framing. Responsibilities include reading blueprint and project start, scheduling material, leading crews, performing safety observations and corrections, and completing quality walks for each job. The ideal candidate will have experience as a rough carpentry framing foreman, with experience in residential and commercial. Must possess solid written and oral communication skills as well as working knowledge of computers.

Duties
o Reading and interpreting blueprints.
o Understanding architectural and structural details
o Acting as the Qualified Person as defined by OSHA
o Performing safety observations and assisting with corrective action if needed
o Reviewing start with framing crews prior to start of project
o Assisting in detailing the slab layout if needed
o Helping framing crew formulate and execute efficient plans to keep project in budget
o Performing quality walks throughout the duration of the project
o Following detailed quality checklists
o Scheduling crews and material from start to completion and and in a way that meets customers expectations.
o Review weekly timecards, safety sheets and quality checklists
o Attend and participate in weekly scheduling meetings
o Team player
o Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Demonstrate the ability to work independently managing multiple tasks, including RFI’s and production demands.
o Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- o Five years of framing experience, having held foreman position for at least 2 years
o Complete knowledge of blueprint reading including but not limited to architectural and structural sheets and details.
o Knowledge of structural truss calculations
o Knowledge of wood framing, hold downs, and structural components typical in wood framed buildings.
o Provide technical expertise and knowledge to field staff when necessary.
o Understands field requirements and constructability of panelized components.
o General computer competency including Microsoft Office and email
o General Leadership and mentorship skills
o Other duties as necessary.

· Education/Career Requirements
o High School Diploma or GED equivalent
o Mid-Career (5+ years of experience of framing experience)
o OSHA 10 and or 40 course completion
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
