Night Field Victim Advocate – Part-Time
Pay: $18/hour
Work Location: Hybrid (Work from home until dispatched to a call)
SUMMARY
Night Field Victim Advocates work in partnership with law enforcement to provide immediate, compassionate support to victims of domestic violence. Advocates respond to police calls, crime scenes, and hospitals to deliver:
- Acute crisis intervention
- Emotional support and education
- Safety planning
- Legal advocacy
- Referrals to internal and external resources
This position requires independence, sound judgment, and the ability to provide trauma-informed care during high-stress situations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Science (Social Work, Human Services, Family Studies, etc.)
OR
Five (5) years of experience in victim advocacy and/or social services may substitute for a degree
- Strong knowledge of crisis intervention and victim advocacy
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, data entry)
HOURS & AVAILABLE SHIFTS (Part-Time Positions)
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (20 hours/week)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a hybrid role. Advocates remain on call from home throughout the shift and respond in person to field locations when dispatched (police scenes, hospitals, etc.).
