A growing veterinary practice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. This role provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality medical and surgical care while building lasting relationships with pet owners and supporting the health and well-being of companion animals.
Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnose illnesses and injuries in companion animals
Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect laboratory samples, and interpret diagnostic results
Provide preventive care services, including wellness examinations and client education
Perform surgical and dental procedures as appropriate
Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
Counsel pet owners on preventive healthcare, treatment options, and end-of-life care decisions
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Ensure compliance with veterinary standards, regulations, and ethical practices
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited institution
Current veterinary license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
Eligibility to obtain applicable controlled substance registrations as required
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered veterinary care
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
