What We Are Seeking
We are seeking a licensed full-time experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). Good work ethic, well organized, super friendly and caring with strong Personal Lines experience are key qualities that will set a candidate apart. This person must be comfortable with selling insurance products like auto, home, business and life insurance. There will be opportunities to earn more income with life insurance sales and bonuses.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries regarding policies, coverage, and service needs.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Review renewals, monitor renewal expirations, and assist with remarketing accounts when needed.
- Quote and rate new business and renewal policies using carrier rating systems. Experience with Erie Insurance is highly desired.
- Assist with claims processing and resolve billing and payment issues.
- Cross-sell and round out accounts by identifying opportunities for additional insurance products including Life insurance coverage.
Minimum Requirements
- License: Property & Casualty (ANY state)
- License: Life (ANY state)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Personal Lines with an independent insurance agency
Preferred Skills
- Some College; No Degree
- Preferred Carrier Experience: Erie Insurance
- License: Property & Casualty (NC and/or VA)
- License: Life (NC and/or VA)
- Management & Rating Systems: Carrier Rating Systems
- Computer Skills: Adobe, DocuSign, & Google Meet
