Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Retail to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support store operations, lead sales teams, ensure excellent customer service, and manage daily retail functions. Your leadership will help create a welcoming environment for customers and foster a motivated team dedicated to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations up to and potentially including retail store, fuel, restaurant, and fresh kitchen.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
- Assist the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Understand financial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers in the efforts of talent acquisition.
Experience
- Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques and management principles
- Experience with inventory management systems and POS technology
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives
- Skilled in negotiation, budgeting, and operational management tasks
- Prior experience with retail math, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processes

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
