American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular procedures, with Epic and Philips single-plane equipment experience required.

Cardiac cath lab setting covering invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular modalities
-
Procedures include stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring

Epic EMR experience required

Philips single-plane equipment experience required; Siemens and bi-plane experience preferred

5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
-
Weekend requirement: once every fifth week
-
On-call requirement: 5–8 shifts depending on staffing needs
-
Holiday coverage required

No float requirement
-
Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required; 3 years preferred
-
Active ARRT or RCIS certification required

Active BLS required
-
Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable (temporary LSRT accepted; typically issued within 3–5 days upon payment and proof of ARRT certification)

Proficiency with stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring

A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Former permanent employees of any facility in this health system must have a separation of at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
