Billing and Customer Service – Bethel CT
New England Propane is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our office as a Billing and Customer Service Representative. Our ability to service our customers above and beyond their expectations is the principal that our company was founded upon. The ideal candidate should help us continue to do this every day. Primary responsibilities and requirements include:
- Bill for services provided to our customers
- Verify the accuracy of data
- Work with inventory/sales data
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to meet the needs of the business
- Work closely with other office and field personnel
- Complete other assorted office duties as needed and assigned
- Field customer phone calls, emails and online requests
Applicants must possess excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills, and have a polite and professional phone etiquette. Should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Must be a quick learner with an attention to detail and be a team player who is always willing to assist our customers and other employees.
This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. A wide variety of benefits including medical/dental insurance and a vision plan. Flexible Spending and 401k plans are also offered.
